MS Caribe I - Commodore Cruise Line

The Caribe was built in the United Kingdom in 1953 as the Olympia. She was known for providing a classic ocean liner experience.

Caribe is 22,979 tons. 612 feet long. 79 feet wide with a 28.2 foot draft. She was registered in Panama with European Officers and an International crew. She is diesel powered.

She was sold to newly formed Regal Cruises in 1993 and renamed the “Regal Empress.”
